Will 940 rear facing seats fit into 740. Help 900 1990

I am getting a 740 estate without the rear facing seats,at the moment i have a 940 with the seats, will these fit into the 740 and is it easy to do.
Any help would be great.

    They interchange and it's easy, but you will need a certain Torx bit to get some of the trim off to swap belts in and out. If the cars have the same interior colours you can swap the upper belt mount trim pieces, too, to save cutting the 740 ones. They (and the left wheel well trim) are marked on the inside for cutting. A Dremel is useful for this.

    You mean the child or third seat, right? Sure it will fit, same car (despite the number change), same seat. Volvo is not known for frivolous structural changes, afterall. The seat is easy to swap, the seatbelts will take more of your time.
