Water Hoses on 95 960 900

Under the engine there are two hoses with coolant that connect near the oil filter housing. Approx. 5/8" ID 12" long. They seem to have a molded bend in them. Are they special hoses or just standard 5/8" water hoses?

They are molded hoses when you get them from the dealer and each has a unique part number.

You may be able to use standard hose but it will be a metric size. I don't remember seeing a size on them but 16 mm is close to 5/8". These need to be good hoses as they carry the coolant for the oil cooler and they always have hot coolant in them.

Do you know a source for these besides the dealer? FCP Groton does not have them.

I replaced mine recently using dealer hoses. This is one instance where the dealer parts are, IMHO, actually worth the money. If I recall correctly, I paid about $15-20 each for the hoses that go to the oil filter.
