78-240 Hit from rear!!

The toyota that did the ramming got pretty messed up. The volvos bumper was pushed in on one side. NO damage to the car, or its riders.

The real question is can you somehow reset the bumper?

Thanks

Lawrence

As I understand it the bumper is designed to do its job by sustaining irreversible to itself. That is to say, you're better off finding a new bumper, or at least a bumper shock for that side, or else you'll get less that optimal protection next time.

You lucked out-- Toyota-in-bumper (or rather, the repair bill for said condition, since my brick was still perfectly driveable) is what took my '87 745GLE off the streets!
