accessory bushings--very quick question 700 1985

Hello,

Just a quick question regarding my accessory mount bushings. I want to replace them on my p/s and a/c, so how many will I need?

Thanks

Volfro

The power steering pump doesn't use them, but you will need four for the AC and three for the alternator. Total of seven.

I just new ones on my accessory bracket. AC took 5, 3 across bottom and two top.

If yours took three on the bottom, it is not a 1985. The earlier 700 series with B230 engines only took two rubber bushings on the lower AC mount. Usually the later ones with the three places for lower rubber bushings have only the two outer installed.

John, you are correct that my car is an 89. It uses all three. Like you say, I've seen later ones only using the two outers. Perhaps the type of AC compressor the car was fit with?
