Where to buy a volvo?

I just missed buying an 88 740 turbo with a bad, but running, engine. It was $500, and had everything. I've been searching since then, and I can not find any other volvos like that in the KC area, they all seem to be in the NE. Does any one know of any other places to look?

When I lived in KC, I drove to Dallas to buy my 240 wagon. I kept up with the classifieds, and when several were for sale, I took a little trip and shopped around. Waved cash under a few noses, got a good deal because they knew the deal had be closed quick.

But then I used to live Dallas before KC (and had foolishly sold my '72 140 wagon to a friend when I left), and getting a brick was also a good excuse to go visit.
