Rear middle jack point...? 700

Where is a good place to jack up the whole rear of the car at one time? As in, a middle jack point?

The little cage around the rear dif (1988, indep. rear --"IRS") dents and mashes too easily, and I don't do it there any more. Is there any better place?

Thanks!
-Matt

--Also, by the way, the ramps at IPD offer a 6.5" lift, isn't that kinda small? Would it be better to get some slightly less beefy ramps from say NAPA that give an 11" lift? I suppose only I can answer that question, but people tend to like IPD a lot, so wondered if there's some good reason their ramps are supposed to be so special...

wait, i thought 1988 700's all have the beam type rear axle. my 1990 740 wagon and my 1990 760 turbo wagon all of them have that beam type axle. the only cars that i know that have an independent rear axle are the 940's and the 960's. is it possible to convert a beam to a irs style rear end setup?

The Rhinoramps that IPD sells are also available at Autozone. Their claim to fame is they allow you to drive on and off the ramps without fouling the air dam and adjusting the foglight aim. They give just enough clearance to make oil changes easier. For more involved work I use taller ramps, but I jack the car up and slide the ramps under the wheels.
