Finding rear nivomat point on 1989 780 700

Hi I was pulling at my trunk carpet and cant seem to find the cap that would expose the upper bolt for the rear nivomat..does anyone know where it is in the trunk..do you have to remove the whole carpet setup..thanks in advance...Jeffry.....

It is not in the trunk. It is behind the rear wheel on each side. Look for a round plastic plug in the wheel well. It just pops out but may need some help with a big screw driver if it is real dirty. After it is out, you can see the bolt that holds the top of the shock.
