Suspension and brake upgrade 700

I want to upgrade the brakes and suspension on my 1987 745 Turbo Diesel Intercooler estate. I have the Nivomats on the rear, and I like them and intend to keep them, but want to fit sway bars and the like to minimise rolls as well as upgrade the brakes. Any ideas what I should look at? What is your experience?

Northa American market station wagons (you call them an estate) have no rear sway bar. If your car has none, get the rear sway bar from a sedan. If you can afford larger sway bars, like IPDs, get them. Your stock front brakes should be 10.25 inch front rotors. You can upgrade to the Big Brakes (11.25 inch dia.) from later 700 series, or upgarde to the Jumbo Brakes installed on the 1991 and on 700 series. Both conversions are covered in the 700/900 FAQ.

I think you already have sway bars on there, don't you? At least my 1990 740 does. But www.ipdusa.com has thicker ones, and I've heard/read good things about them. Might also want to consider a lower chassis brace while you're there.
