light bulb warning light 200 1984

Hello, the light bulb warning light has come on a few times for a minute or two over the last two months. It came on the other day and I found out the rear left tail light bulb was out. I replaced the bulb and it and all the lights are working but the warning light is still on when I turn on the headlights. Any advice? Thanks.

J

I had a similar problem, and so I consulted the brickboard and the bentley manual, and this warning light works on the premise of voltage differences or resistivity differences between both bulbs. Usually when replacing a bulb, you have to replace both sides at the same time, because there will be a large enough difference between the good bulb and the brand new bulb to necessitate
changing both bulbs to get the warning light to go off, make sense? HT
