Lower suspension braces 200

I'm finally getting around to installing the lower front suspension bars on my '92 245. I bought them last fall from IPD and haven't had the time or good weather to work on them. BUT - I managed to lose the instruction sheet. I know they bolt onto an existing hole on the front crossmember - but which one? I also know I have to drill a 3/8 hole somewhere aft, but I'm not sure where - in the support for the A-arm bushing?

TIA for any help.

Yes, they mount to the bushing cup, as I recall, just to the outside of the existing hole. That shoud clearly point you to the crossmember hole to use. I recall you can get to that one without removing teh belly pan. Mount the crossmember end and mark the hole to drill in the bushing housing cup. Not too hard.

Thanks - you confirmed my suspicions. With drilling the job was maybe 30 minutes. Off for a test drive now!
