Thank you for your reply. Like you say, on badly built and broken roads where I drive, driving lights mounted on the air dam like factory fog lights on 760T would help. Yellow lenses would also help with contrast in bad weather. Indeed, I thought a buying such a Bosch kit (sold at Western Auto here for $50) that would allow a bolt on replacement of otherwise identical factory Bosch fog lights on the car. This solution would have helped also with dark roads at night and tropical downpours that hide potholes and other road hazards. However, there is a lot of fog in the mountains where I am, particularly around this time of the year. So, I need fog lights, too. I need powerful both driving and fog lights also because my eyesight gets worse with age. Thanks to Brickboarders, I now know there are Hella headlights with H4 and H1 bulbs that replace stock rectangular Halogen sealed low and high beams on the '86 760T. I am reliably told, these Hellas put a lot of light on the road. I have found these Hella headlights are available on Internet for $44 each ($44x4=$176). Thanks to Brickboarders too, I found complete OEM E code Bosch headlight kits for Volvo 760 up to '87 for $350 from Mr. Juha Pirskanen at www.volvonet.org

All the above solutions to the problem require relays and new wiring for which Brickboarders have kindly supplied masterfull instructions and diagrams. I have already read and learned instructions and diagrams, even found a good spot to put relays on the 760T. All that I need now is to hear from Brickboarders that have had any experience with that E code light kit offered at www.volvonet.org Again, thank you Bob and Brickboarders. Best regards to you all.
