Re: warning lights 900 92

Hi

I too, had this problem about 6 months ago. When the car was running, two or three of the warning lights would glow very faintly, but the car seemed to run fine. I also found that when the car was running, the battery would not charge, unless I revved the engine to about 3,500 rpm (with gear select in "P") and then it was OK. My dealer told me that diodes on the pcb of the instrument cluster were probably blown and would need to be de-bugged. I replaced the entire instrument cluster with one from a junk yard,(much cheaper) and I have never seen the problem since.

Re: warning lights 900 92

Check the connections on the alternator. One small wire that goes on a spade lug, and a wire that is a ground strap between the alternator frame and the block.

Good Luck,

Bob
