D-jet intake manifold port question 1800 70

Hello,

The idle on my 1800 was just soaring after I put it all back together and I chased around all over the place looking for a leak. I also used the opportunity to clean and lubricate the distrebutor, only to discover that it didn't help at all. Anyway, I was able to find a leak at the crankcase breather on the side of tle block. I hose clamp solved this and all seems to be well.

My question is this: I recall taking that hose off the breather before and not having the idle jump up. Is it possible that I have the hose hooked up to the wrong place on the intake manifold? Do those 3 ports differ in any from each other? I just stuck them on where they happened to fit best. Just wondering.

Thanks.
