MAJOR BRAKE LIGHT FAILURE 200 1993

When i press my brake... none of the lights go on.

although all 4 of my bulbs ARE working... none of them brighten up as i press the brake. neither does the middle light.

it doesnt even indicate a bulb failure on my dashboard. and if its any related subject, my thermostat blinks on and off.

the volvo dealer told me that it could be a "Brake switch" or a "bulb sensor failure" or the 2 "printed circuit boards"

i need a second opinion ... (hint.. Paul S. and the crew!)
