cleaning power seat switches? 700 87

Our driver seat is all the way forward, and the power switch won't engage the motors to move it back. Fuse is ok.

I think if I could disconnect the wiring (step 2 of your post) I could clean what looks like a pretty dirty switch box, but not apparent how to do that other than disconnecting the solder joints on the circuit board under the switch, and that sure doesn't seem like the right way. Could you help?

Alternatively, I thought I could jump a pair of wires that are attached to the board, but which pair to move the seat back?

Thanks for your help.
