snow tires 200 1991

Are the Nokian Hakka's(1 and Q) the best snow tires you can buy. Do any other manufactures make as good snow tires/ Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Neil

Re: snow tires (subjective) 200 1991

All I've used for the last 10 or 15 years are Hakkas...on the brick

and various toyotas...never got stuck or couldn't go somewhere

if i really had to...though i suppose that's not real objective...

I have seen some Nokia ads that claim they won some snow tire

rating event held on some tundra somewhere...but i don't know how

valid their claim is.......I'm sure this is a great help...:)

Oh...seems like most folks around here have hakkas....though it might be

    something in the water....

    good luck

Re: snow tires (subjective) 200 1991

Around October of every year, tire shops in upstate NY and VT start advertising Hakkas on those marquee style signs with the replaceable letters (i.e. "Snow is coming- get your Hakkas" "Hakkas in stock", etc.). Never seen any other brand name snowtire advertised this way.

Also, the Hakka 10 was revered among rally drivers. Never got me stuck either!
