How to turn service light off? 900 1998

In my '98 S90, service light comes on every time I start the car. (I did not have the need to go to a dealer in the past year. I do oil changes at home.) It's kind of annoying. What can be done to turn the service light off?

In the archives, I read about an unpublished procedure to do it for models 1999 and newer. Unfortunately, mine is 1998..

Re: How to turn service light off? 900 1998

As you look at the instrument cluster you will see a small rubber plug in the glass in front of speedo/tach. Pull the plug and stick a pen,or small pointed object in the hole and push. It's just like resetting the odometer. The servic light comes on as a reminder at 7,500 mi intervals.

Good luck, nice car
