I have acquired static noise coming from the front passenger side of my wagon. It kicks in at about 60mph and sounds like a bad AM station even with the stereo off. It also seems to be worse in cold weather. If I crack the window a half inch it stops. I have replaced the window seal and that has not helped. ANY suggestions would be greatly appreciated as this is driving me nuts.

Try looking in the heater plenum or the air direction tubes leading away from the heater. Cut off the outside air with the recirculate button. See what changes.
