Excessive crankcase pressure 200 82

I've got an 82' 240. I t keeps blowing oil thru the front seals and popping up the dipstick. I've replaced the flame trap and have good vacuum at the trap.

Any thoughts where else to look for the excessive pressure?

Hi Paul, I see that you have had a response to your question, I'm not sure how to look at it to see if I'm being redundant. Anyway this is what I think your problem is. The thing that the flame trap goes onto is called an oil trap, and I think you'll find that its plugged. If you're lucky you can stick a long screwdriver into the nipple of the oil trap and clear it that way, if not you will have to remove it and clean it on the bench or replace it. I've invented a nifty little tool for checking crankcase pressure. If you want to have a look at it, check out my website at www.mercymotive.com

    Paul-

Once in a while, the restriction is in the flame box itself. Pull the dipstick and pinch off the large hose. You should have vacuum at the dipstick tube.
