i was looking at my engine today to see where you loosen a bolt or two to remove the ac to crankshaft belt. i loosened the power steering ok but i could not figure out where to loosen the ac at? how do i tell the size of the belt once i get it off? thanks will

15365 is the metric size. One very important point is to rotate the engine as you reinstall the outer half of the pulley or you will bend the outer half when you try to squash the belt. Snug the bolts, roll the engine half a turn, continue until tight. Start with 3 shims in the middle. The belt has to be pretty snug when new.

It's too bad you added that "15365", which is probably the right Dayco replacement, was the "metric" size. Those are American (English) inches.

Somebody else already explained how to get the belt off. You don't need to know the size of the old belt unless the recommended (the mfgr's catalogue listing by application) replacement does not fit.

This one gets everyone at first. The pulley bolts at the crank must be removed, the outer half of the pulley comes off with the outer spare shims (set aside) and there are a variable number of shims under that, between the pulley halves that determine the effective diameter of the pulley. Remove shims to tighten the belt (this is like moving the AC away from the crank) or add shims into the center section to loosen.
