Rent rear trailing arm tool? 200 1984

I'd like to rent a rear trailing arm tool to do the bushings. Any one have one?

I rent the tool and the 36 mm socket to drive it. Comes complete with instructions.

    $35 plus shipping.

At present it is in Washington State. If I do not hear from the two others who asked about it but have not replied further, as soon as it gets back I can ship it to you.

      Duane,

Yes, I would most like to rent the tool. Is it the factory tool? I'll have time to do the bushings in two weekends from now if you can get it to me by then.

Hank---Just an idea....I've done the bushing thing three times now, and I've managed to replace the big ones with just a hammer. The old bushings were always so far gone I just mashed them with a chisel to get them out....then the new ones went in with lots of tapping and some grease. Keep an eye on the mounts so they don't bend over too far...a little more tapping will bring them back to where they belong. (Tedious, but it works for me.) I took the removable parts to a shop with a press....costs me $35 to have those done.

    Good Luck

    Keith
