Agreed. The pedal to the floor, followed by normal feel after time passes indicates one of the front calipers is overheated, causing fluid to boil in both circuits. Caused by a pad stuck against the rotor and dragging. Caused by rust in the calipers, clogged flex hoses, waterlogged brake fluid, or all of the above.
