Part number/source for spacer on 12mm lower shock bolts on a 940

1994 940t 306K

As the title states I need the spacers for the 12mm bolt that attaches the shock absorber to the trailing arm.

I tried contacting Tasca, but got no response.

Thanks for any help.

Part number/source for spacer on 12mm lower shock bolts on a 940 900

Hi Randy,

I looked at my spacer, p/n 120640, and measured it. Then did a search on that, and pretty surely confirmed it only fit 2 series cars. IPD for instance. Can't come up with any evidence such a thing exists in the 940. If this link works, here's a rear suspension (assuming not multilink) drawing with nothing like the troublesome spacer in the 240.

An elderly father asked his son if he could borrow a newspaper.

“Father, this is the 21st century,” replied the son. “I don’t waste my money on newspapers. But if you like, you can borrow my iPad.”

The spider never knew what hit it.

Thank you Art.

I made the assumption that the space in the trailing arm was wider than the bottom of the shock would take up. I should have checked but the car was out of the workspace before I thought about it.

I appreciate your response.

Randy
