Cold Start Injector Hose / Pipe 200 1989

1989 245 2.3L FI

Looking for replacement for the hose / plastic pipe that goes from fuel rail to cold start injector. The Volvo part number was 1317061.

Redid fuel system recently as plastic pipe near HP fuel pump cracked, sprayed fuel all over, but (luckily) didn't cause a fire. So I replaced that pipe, decided to put in fuel injector o-rings, etc. BUT Volvo no longer makes the plastic pipe that goes from the fuel rail to the cold start injector. The Volvo part number was 1317061, but dealer says discontinued. I tried IPD, but they didn't respond, so I guess they don't have it either. Would like to replace this pipe / hose before catastrophic failure. Any suggestions ?

I would call around to some diesel shops. You may need to get the hose custom-made. That's fairly easy when it is still in one piece, as long as you can find someone willing and equipped to do it.

You can try Tasca Parts. Put an add-in parts wanted here and on the Brickboard, someone may have a used one.

If all else fails you can replace the plastic hose or have someone else replace it for you.
