m47 tranny plug image 200

hi dan,
thanks for the recommendation. since i have it out, i can pour the redline through the top.

should i pour more in than what you suggest, and if so, any idea how much? i can go as high as the top.

some good news, apparently.

one bearing i have of the 2 nla bearings is intact, p/n 1232993. i'm relieved, at least i don't have to chase down alternate bearings or part numbers for that one.

i'll check in the next day or so about the front counterbalance bearing, again nla, but i found alternate bearings i can use. it sounds like the clanking noise is a cylinder bearing out of its cage.

thanks,
byron
