Ac non working 900 1993

My Ac had a leak.in the condenser . So I replaced it & the little seals,w a good one.
Then jason ,Volvo collecter ,,evacuated it for me..It held &then we added 2 lbs of 134a.
So for some reason when I tried to start it the compressor wont engage...
Any ideas?/My doggies really deserve for it to work!!

Having replaced the condenser, you haven't mentioned seeing any debris from the old condenser. Debris could block the sensing hole at the purple pressostat. Check and clean it for any debris (carb cleaner is ok) then install it back.

My Friend Jason evacuated it for me & said he hadnt seen any debris.I read some notes saying that pressure switch on the drier may be bad?I jumped the switch & the compressor ran.
I m wondering if to replace the switch freon must be evacuated??

"I m wondering if to replace the switch freon must be evacuated??"

Normally no. There's a Schrader valve within the port. Unscrew the old pressure switch out (some Freon may burst out momentarily then stops) then install the new. Be sure to replace the O ring at the port too. Yes there's a very remote possibility the valve has failed stuck open after all these years but that's rare.

        Amarin.
