Some folks disconnect the seat from the slider rails. I take the rails out along with the seat. Slide the seat back to expose the forward nut securing each rail. Remove the nuts. Slide the seat forward and working from the opened rear door - Remove the plastic pins that secure the plastic cover over the rear of the rails. Remove the covers. Remove the nuts securing the back of each rail. Disconnect the wires for the seat heaters if so equipped. Yank the seat assembly back a bit to disengage the rear of each rail from the bent locating tabs. Close the rear door and from the front door opening lift the seat and twist it as necessary to guide it through the door opening. Installation is the reverse of removal. -- Dave
