Looking for headlight switch PLUG from junker 200 1983

Hello all,
The plug which houses my headlight switch overheated, melted and basically fell apart due to an issue with the old switch. As far as I know, this is an obsolete part. I cannot find a 1976-1985 parts car in my area to obtain the plug from. I did find the headlight switch itself on ebay, which was a piece of cake. Anyone out there have a mail order source for something like this? Until I get this resolved, I have no headlights. Thanks, Jim

You could use separate female spade connectors for each wire.

If it was me. I would find female terminals that fit the switch. Then get like trailer wiring plugs(male/female) or some type of plugs to connect to and solder them in.

    Google Volvo 1215170

    All kinds of hits.

Looks like genuine Volvo is expensive and MTC aftermarket is dirt cheap. But usually with MTC you get what you pay for.

Thanks Bulletproof, but that is the part I had no trouble finding. It's the female end of things that I'm having issues with. I believe my next two responses have pointed me in the right direction.

        I understand now.

Per the other suggestions, you should have no trouble repairing the connections.

I would seek to find the point of resistance that caused the original housing to melt. Perhaps you already know.
