Adaptor Cage for New Radio 200 1976

I was finally annoyed enough to swap the original radio of my 245 for a ~more~ modern (still 20+ years old) Kenwood radio that has a better time holding stations. Unfortunately, the radio doesn't fit too well in the enclosure so it bounces a bit when moving. While not a problem for the digital tuner, any CDs skip like all hell. Is there an adaptor that could more precisely mount the new radio? Or am I left to 3d print something to solve the problem? Any help, Thanks!

Do you have something like this in there? Combined with the sleeve the radio comes with this works well for me (top mount position in an '87 so it won't be the same as your '76) but I don't try to play CDs anymore.

    Hi,

You could try this company. https://www.crutchfield.com/S-nBjKsR6rMql/m_750/Car-Stereo-Installation-Parts.html

They are a popular or a well know name for retrofit components for car accessories even though I have never used them for anything.

I’m fairly sure that taking the time to program in a 3D printed part and proof it will be far more tedious than talking to these people on the telephone.

I hope they can help you!

    Phil
