front brake dust shield 700 1992

I need help installing a brake dust shield on the front of my 740. The rotor is off and I need instructions on how to proceed to be able to install the shield. Thank you.

It goes on behind the hub.

Follow the FAQ section to remove the hub. Then there are two hex? bolts behind the hub holding it on.

Double check that you have the correct shield. There seems to be a lot off confusion on part numbers for ABS and non-ABS. Make sure the ABS has the hole for the sensor before you start as they are NOT interchangeable.
