Coolant leak, no fan in car 200

So my car started overheating. When I noticed it over heating I blasted the fans to try to cool the engine and pulled over. Well the fans didn't work and when I added coolant it poured right back out near where the water pump connects with the belts by The fan. Is there a seal there? Why wouldn't the fan work?

Which 200 and what year? And yes there is a rubber seal under the water pump that connects to the block. That's why most people replace the water pump when they change the timing belt. Just an easy thing to do that helps maintenance in the long run. You can order the seal but if yours has already overheated I would put a new water pump on it. Your fan should be direct drive off the pulley. One other thing I might mention is there is also what is called a weep hole just under the water pump. It will seep or sometimes pours water out from there, inside there is the ceramic seal around the shaft. Either way if you have a leak anywhere in that area I would replace the waterpump.
