Looking for info to rebuild kingpins on PV 544 please

    The whole spindle assembly has to be removed so its a major job. The spindle has to be disassembled and the king pin bushings have to be pressed out, new ones pressed in and then the bushings have to honed to fit.

    I have the press work and honing done at my machine shop.

    The king pin kits are still available and I usually have them in stock.

      Thanks; I have the kits( was Hoping to do this in my garage, but looks too daunting. Appreciate the feedback.

        Just remember to count the shims while disassembling. This will help in keeping the alignment correct.....Machine Shop the job.
