Hi,
I have a 1972 Volvo 1800E where the speedo doesn't work. My diagnosis tells me that the problem is the gear drive for the speedometer that's mounted to the end of the gearbox/overdrive unit. I simply can't find anybody who lists this part for sale.

Can anybody help me?

    I should have a good used one.

    Do you know the part number or what transmission and rear end gear ratio or the color of the plastic gear?

    Did you check the angle drive and the short angle drive pin? The pin goes in the end of the speedometer drive gear and the angle drive?
