My 444 has original door panels and side panels on sides of rear seat. They are usable so I don't want to damage them when I remove them. What is the safest effective way to remove them, thanks.

The panels are held on with metal clips. Try to pry right next to the clip. Better way is to get the door panel pry bar that is forked on the end which allows you to slide the fork up beside both sides of the clip, this way you have less chance of busting the cardboard panel. Larry

Harbor Freight (and others) sells a set of plastic trim removal tools which have worked well for me. By sliding one under the corner to open up a gap, then slide another one in to pry the panel away from the door. If the old panels are brittle or rotted they may break easily, so go easy. New door panels are easy enough to make but the rear side panels are another story. I recently had to find a good used set for my 122.
