122 wagon seats 120-130

There's a red 122 wagon on ebay now with what are described as "late model 240 seats"

http://www.ebay.com/itm/1964-Volvo-Other-No-Reserve-/391661085745?forcerrptr=true&hash=item5b30d1e431:g:XcsAAOSwa~BYX2UR&item=391661085745

Can anyone tell me what years/model they believe they might be out of, and, has anyone done this and can they still fully flip the rear seat forward so that you have a FLAT rear area for loading stuff (without shoving the driver uncomfortably close to the steering wheel/pedals, etc.)

If not the case, which, if any, Volvo seats would one swap into a 122 wagon that would work.

I'm 5' 11"

thanks

No one who has a 122 wagon and installed later seats, say out of a 240, has responded as to whether or not they are able drive the car comfortably with the the rear seat folded forward to create a completely flat luggage/loading area in the back. I'd like to swap in later seats, but not if I can't get in the car.

The front seats ARE from a "late model 240" -- maybe '91 or '92. I put the same seats in my '84 245Ti to replace the very bad leather seats. If they can be fitted to the 122 then any 240 front seat can be mounted--the frames/mounting are essentially the same throughout the 240 model run.
Your issue seems to be the reat seat. The rear seat in the red 122 wagon looks to be a 122 wagon seat -- but reupholstered. -- Dave

I extended the seat mounts back a few inches on my '68 220 by using a few pieces of angle iron to make the factory seat's legroom more comfortable for my 6'-1" frame.

It was a breeze to do and probably cost me less than 2 bucks.
