Thanks for replies so far. Keep em coming. I would prefer to get the parts from Canada if possible to avoid the border PIA

Any info on what makes 1973 different from other years is appreciated

Did the flywheel change in '73? Or was that in '74? Ditto the pedals.

I have a complete donor '72 with a M410. Problem being location...I'm in Colorado, the the car is tucked back in the woods.

Other problem is that I'm really not up for taking it all apart. Would rather send it whole...

1973 was the last year for the 6 bolt crank--at least for the B20. -- Dave

        6 bolt for 164 also

Anybody have just the pedals? Might be shippable. (clutch cable angles down)

It is a good idea to look for the pedals first. People remove and hang on to the transmission and other items but not the pedals as often. That makes a donor car a good option if you can find one.

Anyone know of other options for the pedal assembly? Universal? Custom?

I haven't checked part numbers but it would be reasonable to think that the pedal assembly is the same as 140 models of similar age. Basically the 140 and the 164 are the same from the screen backwards.

No the pedal box is unique to the 73-74 164.

              And yes 8 bolt 74+.

              M400 till 71.

Unique clutch cable and B27 clutch kit for all stick 164s.

I think the clutch cable exits the firewall differently so the attachments to the pedals are 90 degrees from each other. But maybe the box is the same and the pedals could be modified?
