Hi,

If you're concerned about the viability of the glue, or worried about them delaminating at a bad time, you might consider adding a few rivets.

If you search 'Semi tubular rivets ' at McMaster Carr you'll find them. They're also known as brake lining rivets. Very easy to put in, soft brass.

They're cheap, but I think you have to buy 100. If you only need a few, let me know and I'll check my stock. I've relined numerous clutch and brake bands on winches and tractors and always have some left over. They're around here somewhere.
