    I used this Cloyes timing gear set; $100 or so.
    So far, so good. Maybe around 30,000 miles or so.

    The only think I don't like about it is that the crank gear doesn't have tapped holes for the next time I have to remove it. Meh. I'll figure that out when the time comes.

      I bought a Cloyes timing gear set from Rock-Auto sometime last year. It still had burrs & sharp edges on the teeth. It looked like it missed the final finishing process at the factory, so I sent it back.

        I had heard positive things about the Cloyes timing gear set that RockAuto sells and was thinking about possibly getting the set. Did you get a replacement set or did you just get a refund?

          I bought a set a few years ago and have been happy ever since. The fiber gear lasted a little over 20 years. I hope the aluminum set lasts longer than that.
