My '93 940 just did it's job protecting my son and his friends. He went off the road, road the ditch for a while, hit the culvert and went airborne, landed and skidded across the road. No one was injured except for some abrasions from the airbag!
There is damage to the RF headlight support and turn signal, the headlight is fine. The fasteners for the air deflector popped out.
The RF wheel is broken and the (brand new dammit) tire is shot. The tie rod and ball joint shaft sheared, the control arm stay is bent, probably the sway bar. The engine support is bent up, probably needs to be replaced. All stuff that can be found in the junk yard or bought new.
I have not yet checked the seat belts for signs of stretch, but those and the air bag should also be easy to find in a junk yard.
What concerns me is that there are dents in the roof. As it didn't roll over and there wasn't anything in it's path that it could have hit, I assume these are signs of buckling from when it hit the culvert, or when it landed.
Has it given it's life or is there more left?

Thanks.
