Diagnostic Error Codes 2-3-1 and 1-1-3 700 1989

That's interesting Herb. I disconnected the hose that connects the flame trap to the accordian hose the connects the amm to the tp. I used a short peace of a dowel rod which i sanded to size to plug the hole in the accordian hose. I reset the on board diagnostics and drove the car around town for a few days and the fault light remained off. Thought I had solved the problem and purchased a new hose that connects the flame trap to the accordian hose. Removed the dowel rod plug and connectd the new hose. Car ran fine and for several days and the fault light remained off until this morning. It now comes on immediately when I start the car. i assume I have a vacuum leak - the new O2 sensor seems to be Ok. i will check the O2 sensor again this week and once again try to find a possible vacuum leak.

I appreciate your reply.
