Clock in my 142S 140-160

The clock in my 1974 142S tick tick ticks, but the hands don't move. Any suggestions are appreciated.

Take it out, open it up and clean/lube it is where I would start. You've got nothing to lose as far as I can see.

I know the '72 clocks had "soft" gears (plastic? it's been a while)and sooner or later the gears would no longer mesh. The works would jamb up and would blow an internal fuse.

Sorry to not have more info.

Actually going to take it tomorrow to local jeweler I've done business with that also works on clocks. Mine says Motometer on the faceplate, made in Germany but the back says Kienzle. I have not had the back of this one off, figure that since it ticks, maybe a good cleaning and lube would get it back running. Also have a website that repairs Kienzle clocks in case the local people can't help me.
