    This is the other side facing towards the front, similar kind of damage maybe slightly worse. I just ordered the BMW OEM SGF GAB01-017 on Amazon which should be equivalent to:

    The sturdier BMW guibo that is a direct replacement is p/n 26117511454

      nice researh on the Part Number. The SGF number opens up the use in entire BMW line, which never abandoned the RWD system, unlike Volvo. Making that part available for another 10 years, at least.

        Once I saw the condition of my joint I wanted to get one right away.

        SGF is the manufacturer of the original joint so if this BMW speced one is better that's what I want! Hopefully there will be no surprises when I get it, only time will tell.

        make sure they send you the Good Stuff

        plus now that you have the BMW part number you can search other sources.
