If your central locking dies, here's an easy way to determine if the problem is in the central locking relay behind the dashboard/ashtray
Take the driver side door panel off.
Below the door handle assembly, look for a three-wire connector that has -
a yellow wire with black stripe, a green wire with black stripe, and a brown wire with a black stripe
These are the wires that connect the door switch/solenoid to the central relay
Unplug this connector and move the wires that run to the door switch out of the way.
Using a paper clip or some other solid wire, form a "U", creating a jumper wire.
Touch one end of this jumper wire to the brown/black wire in the 3-wire connector, then touch the other end to the yellow/black wire, then the green/black wire.
If the door lock solenoids in the other doors do NOT operate, the central relay is bad.
The above operation simulates the action of the driver side door lock switch/activator.
Worked for me.
