Axle shaft and more 120-130 1968

Hello All,

It's been a while... Still looking for a good right rear axle shaft, and drum/hub. Prices have gone up in a year! Found both for a good chunk of money, but there's a lot to be done. Any good source for races, and bearings?

Cheers,
GD

Unless you have the odd ball Salisbury rear end, I almost always have the axle bearings in stock along with the axle seals.

The bearings are $60.00 for each and include the races and are OEM.

The axle seals are $11.74 each and are OE.

I should have a good used axle.

Do you need just the rear hub or a good used rear drum?

      Hello Eric,

The drum separated from the hub... So I guess I need the whole assembly. I can't find a shop in Philly willing to do the work. There is bus shop willing to give it a go. I did How ever come across a complete p 1800 rear axle... For $200. I might have better luck with that in terms of cost and outcome.

      Cheers,
      GD

          Hello Matt,

No need to remember... Both are 68.... I suppose I'm getting basically the same thing. Drums from end to end.I believe my brake lines match up.

FYI, almost every 1968 1800S came with a 4:56 ring and pinion ratio, while almost every 122S came with a 4:10.
