my engine seems to have to much back pressure..like blowing out of oil filler hole when I take the cap off...leaks oil out of camshaft seal. Thanks,

Got it! Little "S" shaped hose between the flame trap and oil separator was totally plugged. I am going to replace the oil separator also for good measure mainly because I broke it getting it out.

Past cracking/splitting issues with aftermarket brands. It would be best to buy a Volvo labeled one. Review the FAQ and old posts.

Hi,

Adding to Javalion's post if you're going to replace any of the hoses associated with the flame trap (s-shaped hose or hose that connects to intake) you will also be warned to use Volvo parts. I have bought both hoses before (aftermarket MTC brand) and neither lasted a year.
