Changed front three seals on my 1990 740GL B230F Regina system, 201,000 miles. Ran great for 150 miles now after I drive 5 miles or so it hesitates and bucks badly. Diagnostics says idle air control valve closed, I have no idea to relevance. Car ran fine until I did the seals.

    If it won't idle, sounds like diagnostics indicates the idle control air valve. If so, take it out and clean it with electronic throttle body cleaner and see if it unsticks.

    I don't know but that's quite a few miles, I would NOT assume the two are related. Did you check the IAC for open/close function?
