Hi all,

I have a 1957 445, and I would like to restore the interior, recovering the seats and putting in new door panels, but I haven't been able to track down replacement parts. The interior code is 118. I have talked to the folks at vp-autoparts and they don't have any information about that code. The car is blue/white (paint code 35) and the current door panels are blue/speckled. Are there other resources besides vp-autoparts that might be able to supply interiors, or maybe the material to make new seat covers/door panels?

I understand (and respect) your desire to redo the interior as stock but in case you would consider something different - you can source very nice looking mahogany plywood of the proper thickness and redo interior panels in varnished wood. It's a fair amount of work but easy enough to do, likely no more expensive than repro panels, and looks way, way better than stock and period correct.

Mahogany seat covers would be kind of tricky. Door panels not so much.

Most large cities have stores selling "upholstery supplies" for professional upholsterers. While they might not have the exact match, most will have something pretty close.
