Having trouble with tests for ground on page 280-11 of Bently.

Should the connentor be removed from the control unit when making the tests 3 thru 8, or should it remain connected but opened to expose the test points.

If it is supposed to be connected, how do you release the control unit from the bracket so it will drop down where I can see it?

not know the test you're doing, i know disconnect from the ecu when checking ohms, connect for checking voltage. good luck, chuck.

Connector removed from Control Unit, cover off, side protectors removed.

Connector off isolates the control unit from the testing of the components.
