164 Suspension Components / Year 140-160

Hi,

What are the differences between years for suspension components for the 164? I need to know if 1971 control arms, trailing arms, panhard rod, torque rods will fit 1974 cars.

Thanks

74 panhard rod is different, it has a bend in it. If you want to get a 164 to handle, 67,68,69 control arms and torque rods are 19mm shorter and will take significant weight off the front tyres. It also makes tyres fit better.

The front suspension parts are the same.

If the 164 VIN is 102949 or lower, the rear suspension parts are also the same.

Sorry for the multiple posts. 140-160

I am using a laptop with a hard to use touch pad and I must have tapped too many times.
