my faithful 740 has developed any annoying rattle that seems to relate to the left rear wheel. thought it might be the shocks (original 150k). i replaced them. no joy. i have inspected the area, shook everything i could get my hands on and cannot find the guilty party.

has anyone else experienced this problem.

If you have a wagon put some grease on the rear door latch points.

it's a sedan. maybe it relates to the trunk hinge. i'll have a look.
